2XT Yamaha TZR250 straight cut primary gears inc. kickstart (TDR/R1-Z)

Special 2XT Yamaha TZR250 straight cut primary gears, super finished for maximum performance. The road bike has helical gears, which give a quieter engine.... but sap power. Straight cut primary gears transfer power from the end of the crank to the back of the clutch with much better efficiency and therefore power.

If you want to squeeze every last drop of performance from your bike, these are the real deal. This set retains the kickstart mechanism and is therefore a very complicated gear set to manufacture. Comes with roller bearings, rather than the bronze bush fitted to the standard engine, to further reduce frictional losses.

Also compatible with TDR250 and R1-Z, as they share a common crankcase design
