3AK Yamaha TZ250 cylinders & heads x2 #S.7

A pair of 1988 reverse cylinder 3AK Yamaha TZ250 cylinders & heads. The heads are good condition, the cylinders have both seized, so need a new nicasil coating. They are not scored, just seized, so will not require any welding. We can arrange new nicasil for the buyer in required, cost is approx. £150 per cylinder at the time of listing (though prices do change, so email for a quote before buying, if required).

These cylinders were very low mileage (before the seizure), as can be seen by the original inked numbers - so we can only imagine what a 'bad day' the original owner in Japan was enduring! Nipping up new cylinders ranks up high on the 'bad day' league table.
